El olvido que seremos is a 2020 drama film directed by Spanish director Fernando Trueba and based on the novel of the same name by Colombian author Héctor Abad Faciolince. The film was included in the official selection of the 2020 Cannes Festival, which was postponed due to the 2020 coronavirus disease pandemic in France.123 Finally, the film closed, out of competition, the Official Selection of the sixty-eighth edition of the San Sebastian Festival.
